Smbat Sparapet was one of the most outstanding statesmen of the Cilician Armenia. He has been presented commander, historian, diplomat, political figure, author of verses and poems, translator, and also the author of the first Code of Laws of the Cilician Armenian State.
Smbat spent all his conscious life in fights and battles against enemies of the native land, has been appointed by the Commander-in-Chief Armenian Army when he was just 18 years old.
