Did the Turks massacre innocent Armenians in cold blood, as the Armenians claim, or did nothing like this ever take place, as Turks and the Turkish government allege? What documentation is available to confirm the Turkish policy of Genocide in 1915? Read this trailblazing volume from 1972 and decide for yourself!
This book is one of the KEY SECONDARY SOURCES ON THE 1915-1923 TURKISH GENOCIDE OF THE ARMENIANS, which took more than a million innocent lives. Written by an attorney with a penchant for factual documentation, this important work by Dickran H. Boyajian, "ARMENIA: THE CASE FOR A FORGOTTEN GENOCIDE" (Westwood, N.J.: Educational Book Crafters, 1972) tells the story of the Armenian genocide in documentary detail.
This is actually one of the first works in English by an Armenian author to bring the facts of the Genocide to light. Contains extensive documentation in the form of official telegram copies, maps, and other docments. The late author was an attorney in the Boston/Watertown area and well known for his specialization in the field of Armenian Studies. NOW RARE.
CONDITION: Brown cloth cover, 498 pages, 7” x 9” format, bright gold stamping on spine, good quality binding but slightly shaken, covers are clean but corners are bumped. Clean interior, missing a flyleaf sheet, seems to have a little impairment from moisture. Dustjacket missing. Overall very good but not perfect condition for this rare and important book.
